tinyurl.com/mdwx6y6 Preparedmind101 and Will from Mantis Outdoors break down the best stainless steel containers anywhere, all of which come from the …
I like the 64 oz bottle kit , rather than the canteen, or 32 oz kits . But that's me . I like the pathfinder frying pan and the 120 oz pot too . Me being disabled, cant get far from the pickup, or 4 wheelers . Me staying close to camp , I get most cooking duties, so they eat stews , meat soups , beans and bacon, cornbread, fried spuds . Once a while biscuits, I've a real Dutch oven. I've invested in my children and grandson, these pathfinder kits also, it'll last for generations
Dude, If you are going to recommend something you had better try it out first. The Pathfinder stove is worse than a joke. Dave should have had it made of brass like the Trangia and spent some time perfecting it. It is hard to light, slow to blossom & puts out half the heat as a Trangia which is half the cost. Cheap Chinese junk.
I'm looking to add that nalgene looking kit to my collection. Bit more compatibility with other bottles. I don't see too many g.i bottles here. Cups, yes. Bottles, no.
I’d take stainless steel over titanium any day. Unless you plan on a really, really long hike (need lightweight), stainless steel is just as durable, and it heats way more even when cooking. For price, durability and ease of cooking, it’s stainless steel all the way.
I’ve been thinking about getting these for awhile. At first, I thought they were waaay overpriced, but after seeing the crap that is out there, I realized that a few extra dollars is worth getting high quality. Good video. Informative. Decided to pull trigger thanks to you. Keep on keepin’ on, bro. Cheers…
I gave my 32 ounce, pathfinder cook kit to my grandson, I've stepped up-to a 64 ounce pathfinder cook kit. Love it. The nesting cup and 64 oz bottle works great in the firebox gen2 stove
just went to Smokey Mountain Knife Works; they're charging about 5x as much for Pathfinder gear then any other. The Pathfinder display is sitting there, gathering dust. It's really hurting their business.
Would have loved to see the smaller pot packed! Does it nest?? Also, your link to the Pathfinder Store goes to a site under construction. I'm almost tempted to give you a thumbs down myself!
How about actually using them to boil and cook things first and then review them. You cannot possibly review something properly without having used it extensively let alone without using it even once…..
Maybe our new political climate will force SRO to start manufacturing in the US, with US sourced materials.
I'd pay the extra cost, just to get the best possible product. I'm from the camp of buy once cry once. If I can only take one of something with me, I want it to be the best or something that will last the longest. Now, if only Dave would consider making these in Ti, I'd be ALL IN.
I know this video is a bit old but I bought these and have used them and I'm so glad I invested in them. way worth the money and will last a lifetime. I should have gone with the pathfinder cooking gear first instead of the cheap stuff because the cheap did didn't last. Dave Canterbury offers the best cooking gear bar none in my opinion. Thanx!!
The prices have changed and, best is, they no longer use the Condor bottle bag but a proprietary, Pathfinder bottle bag. Larger and more storage. And there is too much "hate" and negative stuff here… and everywhere. If you have a differing view or counter point that's one thing but if you don't like a video or product, don't watch or buy it and move on, people. Too many feed their own ego by knocking vids/products just for the sake of it. That's just my way of sticking up for Chris, his channel and vids. I don't agree with everything but if I don't have something valid as a counter, I keep my mouth shut. Usually. 😉
Important info, everyone should share asap ..leaked government plans of tyranny and property seizures https://youtu.be/NIQ2_xUkE_c

Will the pathfinder canteen set (canteen, cup, stove) fit the USGI MOLLE II canteen carrier??? I'm sure it won't fit the old ALICE carrier….
