I would of thought x5 carrots was ample for such a huge bed.So if I have x1 resovoir 2 outlets x2 pots x2 carrots is that o.k or do I need a complete loop.Where do you get this info??? Blumat website is pretty non existant
Since when are blusoak not supposed to be used on gravity fed ? Sustainable Village never mentioned that to me once .. lol they actually RECOMMENDED using blusoak over the drippers for my gravity feed..
Thanks Peter for hosting the greatest show on the Tube. Thanks Scott for the video on soil balancing math! It helped a lot! Ideal Soil 2.0 was extremely helpful. Been trying to get my soil guy to give me prescriptions in weights. He works in yards (or acres) and I work in cubic feet. A cup of "amendment" usually weights differently than one teaspoon x48 IME. Scooping a full cup seems to pack it in more densely than if I skim a teaspoon off the top. I try to be as accurate as possible and feel it is only possible when using weights. How many teaspoons of sodium borate might one recommend per cubic foot? Probably 1/10th of a 1/4 tsp Gets difficult when you get down to the micros and traces. How many teaspoons of sodium molybdate to top dress a 7 gallon pot? See it's tough. To be fair, he would tell me to foliar feed a different Mo product AND to up my container size LOL. My scale only works as low as 0.5 grams. I'm cutting stuff with a "somewhat" soluble humic acid product, just so I can measure small amounts (less than 1/2 gram). Then I'm mixing in water and spraying onto my soil, hoping I can spread and till it properly by hand so it shows accurately on a soil test (that uses ~ one teaspoon of soil). Haven't figured out my blumats either. I figure they just do what they want on their own, but the plants haven't wilted from over or under watering. I'll use a tensiometer and when it reads 80-100 Ill set the carrots and a few days later it will read 180. Been adjusting them constantly since installation. Have a 12 gallon tote feeding four 7gal containers with 1 carrot in each. I add 5 gallons to the res about every 2.5 days. So I guess they are getting about a half gallon each per day.
There must be at leased one person who saw this video, and after went to the local grow center for some carrot seeds … lol 😉 Great show guy's ..loved it !
I was on 5 p30s and opana 30mg 3 a day and I was on them from 2008 until 2019 when I stopped but seriously thought I got into growing worms 🪱and 👍😅for sure the best way for making the best dirt
Trust me guys what I About to say 💯 I've started this process starting out growing poppies and boy I thought it was going to be like 👍growing cannabis well I'm about to tell you there 👎not the same as each other lmao and the only reason why I started off with this was due to of stopping my meds I was taking
Aaron, thank-you. I dying to learn more about feeding living soil with dry amendments through a reservoir. Do it again. If you post a growers question on Dudegrows.com they can give you several options for you decide on managing your humidity between the tent and lung room with the ac infinity. I know Coach Steve, for one, runs ac infinity, pulse, with close set points and he is always ready to answer you.
That yield looks to be lacking in the output that much soil should be yielding 3-4× that amount. All that light and all that soil i would be very disappointed after 120 days
The how to spend a lot of money to achieve the same results grow guide? 190 bucks for a handheld fogger to spray a 2×4 bed with 4 plants seems a bit overkill… Then again if you have the inheritance to back it up.. might as well throw them dollar bills up in the air [insert vulgar rap song]
to get boron ( for example) collect boron rich plants and feed em to your soillife/worms/rabbits/bokashibuckets/compostpiles. raisins have 4.5mg boron per 100grams(dont use raisins from non-organic-farmers…they often are rich in fungicides, too.) ordinary corn salad is very boronrich, too. here is a link to a list of all kinds of accumulators(and excluders) —> https://www.permaculturenews.org/2020/05/18/dynamic-accumulators-part-two/ for all kinds of nutrients and minerals. very helpfull for designing compost/manure/bokashi thats supposed to tackle specific problems…
If I spent that much money on a set up and that was myresult I would be concerned.Just saying
