I love MJ and yes I have 22+ yrs experience with the plant but his "this bud was discarded" and his "this was one of the best strains I have ever grown but im cutting it" really sends me into orbit! He is way too left brain dominant man, a cold harded technician who knows his shit but does not really appreciate MJ in all her glory!
Thanks for the great vid. What is your feeling about the handling of the buds during trimming, curing and packaging? Your beautiful buds are loaded with trich's and I wonder about how much is being left behind on the protected fingers. I know how sticky my scissors get when trimming so I do know there is quite a bit left behind.

Subcool 420 does a method similar to this. Now in your description it would only make sense to do this in a indoor grow. So this is a technique used only for indoors never outdoors. But there are alot of variables to other peoples rooms that would make pruning all their fan leaves or light converters and energy, both would go down and you would result with less material, because they may have only 2 plants that can get more light at the base.

Settle down fantasy boy! Your advise is pure hot air. You buck off all those leaves and you have effectively taken away the plants ability to breath. That means no Co2 uptake or transpiration. Taking some of the fan leaves sure, but taking all is just plain ignorance. I would much rather have 1lb of fire per light than 3lbs of stressed out swag any day.

Its called prunning and it actually works if you dont go overkill on it.
or just purge your bho with a vac and winterize it and its more pure than bubble and with way less plant matter you are smoking
